We strive for the best preventative medicine in an effort to prolong the health of your beloved pet. This includes a preventative vaccine schedule, heartworm and intestinal parasite protocol tailored to meet to every pet’s individual needs. Every animal has its own unique lifestyle. Our job is to protect your pet and keep it healthy in it’s everyday life. We offer puppy series vaccines, DHPP+L4 adult vaccines, and 1 year and 3 year rabies vaccines for our canine patients. We offer a full line of feline vaccines as well.

Pet DentistryDentistry

Oral health is important to our animals. Bad breath is a sign of infection in the mouth of your pet. This infection can do much more than cause stinky breath. It can spread to vital organs such as the heart, liver, lungs and kidneys as this bacteria can be absorbed into bloodstream after being swallowed. This can simply be avoided with periodic teeth cleanings.

Pet SurgerySurgery

Animal Practice of Marion provides a wide variety of surgical services. We strongly promote the spaying and neutering of pets in an effort to control the pet population. View and print surgery consent form here.

House CallsHouse Calls

There are times our pets need a visit from the vet and for some it is easier or necessary to have the pet seen in the home. Afternoon house-calls for yearly check ups, sick pet or emergency care are available Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Pets get sick and it isn’t always during normal business hours. You will be able to call the clinic to reach Dr. Call for your animal’s after hour needs.

Pet NutritionNutrition

After much careful consideration and research, iVet formulas have been chosen by Animal Practice of Marion as our recommended dog and cat food. iVet manufactures their own pet foods with quality ingredients you can see on the bag. Quality food not only comes from quality ingredients but also quality manufacturing. A lot of recalls have been due to faulty manufacturing when vitamins or minerals added in incorrect amounts had devastating effects. iVet has never experienced a recall and take top quality control measures to insure your pet’s food.

iVet is not only high quality but it is very affordable with most maintenance diets costing about $1 per pound. That is less expensive than lower quality foods available.

We also carry Hills Science Diet Prescription Diets.

For more information on iVet formulas, please email us at and we will gladly send it.
